What motivates me? My wife. I know that sounds super cliche, but it’s true. When I really started getting into writing more, it was when I started writing erotica. And I didn’t write erotica just for fun, or for myself. I wrote it for my wife. She was my inspiration for most of my female characters.

Then from there the story would become a canvas for me to paint on. Some of them were a glorified retelling of something we had already done. Some amazing event in our lives, that I found so amazing, so erotic that I just couldn’t get it out of my head.

Some were fantasies that she told me about. Dreams she had that I then brought to life on the page for her. I consulted her on the names of the characters, and the scenery. And then piece by piece I created her fantasy.

Others were my own fantasies. Some I surprised her with when I finished writing. Some I told her first, to see if she enjoyed it. And then I would embellish them in writing.

Either way, she is always my motivation. She is always my first audience. Before anyone else reads my work, she does. She is my first editor, my first beta reader. She is my sounding board when I am having trouble coming up with an idea.

And most of all, she is my support. I have tried throughout the years to do so many things. To accomplish so many goals and dreams in my life. And with her in my life now, I am finally realizing my dreams.
