For those who are excited, or eager to know what is happening, here is a quick update. Book one, is finished. It is in the editing phase. And I started writing Book 2 already. And as of today, I have reached a pretty big milestone for book 2.

I am now over 40,000 words. And into Chapter 11. That may not seem big, but it is. Book one is 112,000 words, and 34 chapters. So by those standards, I am at least 1/4-1/3 of the way through book 2.

And for those who have been following along, or that know me. You know how huge that is. Up until this story. Up until Book 1… As much as I have tried, I never could make it past 3-4 chapters of any book I tried to write. And I have been trying since I was in 9th grade. (Which is a long time ago)

Don’t get me wrong. They were all good stories. At least I think so. And i still have all of them. Tucked away in my unfinished folder, waiting for me to pick them up, dust them off, and hopefully finished them some day.

But, to have finished one book, and be this far into a second already… this is a big moment for me. And I hope that when the books get published, all of you will be as happy about it as I am. I hope that you will enjoy the story as much as I do, and fall in love with my characters and my world the way I have.

So, for now, that’s the update. Today, November 13th, 2025. I have 42,151 words written for book 2. Book one has been edited as far as I can bring it. And been sent to an editor. I’ll update everyone the moment that editor begins work.
